We are pleased to invite you to the conference of Mr. Trevor Garrod and Philip Bisatt on Wednesday, May 23, at 19h, in the auditorium of the College of Enginyers de Camins, canals i Ports de Catalunya, in a event jointly organized by the College and BCNFuTour.
In the context of the Spanish government's announcement that studies the total privatization of RENFE (see for example in spanish) is of great interest what this two knowledgeable people say about this process of liberalization of the railways in Britain, from the ideological impetus by Margaret Thatcher in the early 90's, with large initial failures,to the present relative success.
The lecture will be delivered in English. The discussion questions can be formulated in Catalan and Spanish
